From Thursday March 11 to Saturday March 13, seven men from Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church (Harrisburg, PA) participated in a Lenten Pilgrimage and Retreat to St. Tikhon's Monastery in South Canaan, PA. The pilgrimage consisted of participating in the monastic services, sharing meals with the monks, touring the grounds, as well as receiving words of encouragement in the spiritual life from Fr. Sergius, the newly installed abbot. Participants were impressed by the hosptitality and spiritual calm we experienced, and hope to make this an annual event.
