On March 25th, the community at Christ the Saviour celebrated the Great Feast of the Annunciation with an evening Vesperal Divine Liturgy. The joy of the message of the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary was tangibly felt by all, even as we were in the midst of the Great Fast. This feast is a reminder to us that "God is with us", that He chose to dwell in the womb of the Theotokos, and that His birth would usher-in the mystery of Salvation. At the end of the service those present were blessed with water that Fr. Stephen recently brought back from the well at the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth.
