On Sunday, March 8th, our parish clergy and young adults processed around the church with icons in commemoration of the Triumph of Orthodoxy and the restoration of icons (March 11, 843 - which was the first Sunday of Great Lent that year). This annual commemoration reminds us of the importance of the Apostolic Faith and the sacrifices made by our predecessors who preserved and "handed over" the message of salvation in Jesus Christ and the purity of the Christian Orthodox Faith established by Him.
